In 2022 I was longlisted for The Bridport Prize in poetry.
In 2018, I co-founded Wednesday Writers with editor and writer's mentor Anne Rainbow, a monthly Artist's Date offering structured workshops on all aspects of creative writing and editing.
Since I could hold a pen, I've written creatively. I'm a lifelong journaller and love experimenting with form in poetry and prose, always drawing inspiration from nature around me.
I grew up in North Lincolnshire in Scunthorpe and studied English at Oxford. I've lived, worked and written in England, Europe and N. America, am mulitlingual, and I love words ... these are fundamental to my flourishing.
